About Us
"Be the person your dog thinks you are!"
I started this business as an extension of my love for animals. I can not ever recall when there were no pets in my home.
There was always a dog or cat we found, brought home and begged my mother to keep. We had birds, a baby squirrel, fish, tadpoles,
ant farms, lightning bugs and at one point we even had a squirrel monkey. Every divorced mom with four kids needs a monkey in their home.
My children are all adults now but they too had their share of critters including horses. We are all animal crazy and can not
imagine living without a pet in our lives.
My name is Dorothy King. My family is from Savannah and my husband of over 35 years, Les, is from the Seattle area.
Les' career in the hospitality industry moved us many places around the country. His job as Regional Vice President for a
major hotel company moved us back to Atlanta in 1995.
I enjoyed a career as an electrologist as my family was growing. While working here as a realtor, I found
that there are many people in the same situation as my family is in. How do you work long hours, travel with your job or simply
plan a trip out of town when you have pets?
I decided to start a pet sitting business with the goal to offer a needed service and share my devotion to animals.
Our pet family consists of 8 dogs and 3 cats. We are a foster home for an animal rescue group as well as a puppy raiser family
for Southeastern Guide Dogs. We love animals and are available to offer companionship and care for yours.
